About Work In Progress and Pending

Cool. So I'm glad you looked over here, you deserve a million dollars.

You know how lots of profiles get abandoned as they're being worked on and clutter the Pending section and then we have to do some kind of major clean up day that no one looks forward too?

Neither do I. So here's what we do on here. You should take notice of the Work in Progress Section. If you post a WIP there, you are free to play around, work on the history, make fancy autoplaying music, everything. It's great. And you can spend your sweet time finishing it there, just like most pending sections.

When you are finished with it, copy paste everything and post it in Pending, or even ask an admin to move it there so the staff can be alerted that it's there. ( Redundant, I know, to ask someone to move a profile into Pending, it's great. That's why copy pasting exists. )

Here's where shit gets real. You are not posting your Works In Progress in the Pending Characters section until they are finished and ready to be checked. If any of the required fields are missing, it'll be automatically moved to denied. Pending is how the kids say your body is ready, that you are ready to be scrutinized and examined. If you're not ready, you should have read up before accidentally posting it there. This is primarily so we don't accidentally skip over profiles that are finished, but are surrounded by hundreds of WIPs.

On another note, you should totally look down here too, you can enable HTML on your posts and such. Go to your Profile tab, click preferences, and click yes on 'Always enable HTML'. Most of you from RPU will probably be more familiar with HTML than BBCode so this will make it that much easier for you.

    Grand.
